OSA Launches New Review Journal: Advances in Optics and Photonics
OSA's new online-only, peer-reviewed journal, Advances
in Optics and Photonics (AOP) is now available. OSA will
provide free introductory access to the journal through 2009.
This cutting-edge, multimedia journal of reviews and tutorials is
appropriate for a broad range of audiences: students, researchers,
faculty, business professionals, and engineers. Led by renowned
editor Dr. Bahaa Saleh (Dean of the College of Optics and Photonics
and Director of CREOL at the University of Central Florida),
Advances in Optics and Photonics is designed to capture the most
significant advances in optics and photonics from fundamental
studies to engineering applications, including materials, devices,
and systems. AOP features include:
• Invited, chapter-length review articles with internal
navigational links and external reference linking for easy sourcing
and enhanced learning • Tutorials with multimedia enhancements •
Peer-reviewed letters to the editor • Rapid access to content, as
