An Advanced Word Course has been organized for Tuesday 12th February 10am - 1pm in the Ken Adkins Learning Centre next to the Dentistry Library.

Attendees will learn of the most important features of Word which assist in the creation and maintenance of lengthy formal documents.

This class is recommended to Word users with at least an intermediate level of experience who are creating a very long document such as a thesis.

Class Content:

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

* use styles to format your document consistently * use the Outline view to create headings * create an automatic table of contents * insert cross-references to items in the document * understand the issues involved with creating a long document as a single file or as many separate files * convert your document to PDF

Duration: 3 hours Prerequisite:Class attendees must be currently-enrolled students of The University of Queensland and very confident users of Microsoft Word.
