Whats your h-index?

Blogs > Teeth Talk

Want to know your h-index? The h-index was proposed by JE Hirsh (UCSD) in 2005 and defined as "the number of papers with citation number higher or equal to h". You can calculate your h-index on Web of Science (WOS) by conducting a General search for your papers. Enter your surname and initials in the Author box, limit by "Univ Queensland" (or other Institution) in Address box and then, on the results screen, select Citations Report. Follow the link to read Hirsh's paper, An index to quantify an individual's scientific research output.
