Date Claimer - ebook update session - Friday April 1st 2011
What would you like to know about accessing and using ebooks in
your library? Next year’s Cyberschool Update session is scheduled
for Friday April 1st 2011. The session will be about ebooks and
will be jointly presented by UQL Cyberschool and SLAQ. We would
like your feedback about what you would like addressed in the
sessions. e.g. textbooks? library books? ebook readers?
subscriptions? licence agreements? Confused about differing
platforms and methods of access? Have you successfully implemented
access to ebooks in your library? We’d love to hear from you.

HI Helen, I am the Resource Centre and ICT coordinator at Oakey High and have an interest in eBook. I would be very interested in Cyberschool Update session mentioned. Can you give me any more details?

I am interested in licencing and keeping track of the licencing on each ereader. also cross-platform ereaders; that is content that is not tied to one type of ereader. In particular I am interested in ipads for their multifuncioality as well as an ereader. Hope you can help with this.... Ann
I am interested in ebooks for our library - not ereaders, but ebooks which can be integrated into our catalogue.
I am interested in attending this seminar and want to learn more about all aspects of ereaders and etexts, their management options and use throughout the school environment. Look forward to more information next year. Thanks, Noelene

I would like to attend this PD. Is registration open? I would like to discuss the options for registering individual student texts, teacher reference and class sets. Thankyou
