Extended 24/7 access to Level 3 of the Law Library

Level 3 of the Law Library will open 24 hours, 7 days a week from Monday, 6 August. This extends the access provided by the 24/7 Student Learning Space on Level 2. On level 3, patrons will have access to group and individual study rooms and the computers in the ezones.

You can access the 24/7 space through the after-hours access door which is located on the Great Court side of the West Wing of the Forgan Smith Building. This door is activated 15 minutes after the Library closes.

Using the Gatton Library

Welcome new students and welcome back to returning students.

The Gatton Library has a dedicated page on the library's website, with information on services, hours and contact details - http://www.library.uq.edu.au/locations/uq-gatton-library.

Be aware, you can get after-hours access to the lower level of the library by taking your student card to the Student Centre (in the NW Briton Administration Annexe - Building 8101A) and asking for "after-hours access to the library". You can then swipe in and out of the back door of the library, near the Computer Annexe (Building 8159) ramp. Note that this door only operates when the library is closed.
