The Library offers assignment research workshops specifically tailored to schools and faculties which will help you sharpen your research skills and discover the best way to approach your assignments. This is an advanced class so you may wish to refresh your general library skills prior to attending by completing one of our online tutorials. During this workshop you will learn how to quickly find scholarly information for your assignments, saving your time and your sanity. The workshop covers:
- Navigating the Library website effectively
- Formulating effective search strategies
- Locating relevant journal articles in Summon
- Identifying and searching databases relevant to your discipline

Do you recognize this flower? Most people won't because most people will never have seen it. It is the flower of the Dragonfruit plant. It is incredibly beautiful and delicate and never sees the light of day. It blooms at night and withers before the morning sun can touch it. If you didn't know it was there, you would never know it was there. If only there was a way to find out about such things so that they could enrich you life rather than just pass by.
