BSL will be running a trial of 24-hour operating from midnight on Monday, May 24. The trial will run for a month, concluding on June 24. During the trial, the library will be open continuously, apart from Saturdays when the library will be closed from 9 am - 5 pm. Other libraries on the St Lucia campus will be open on Saturdays so students using BSL as an all-nighter on a Friday can move across to another branch when BSL closes on the Saturday. BSL will re-open on Saturdays at 5pm. During all-night operation, the library will be staffed by security guards, not library staff, so services will be limited.
