The University of Queensland Library is hosting a number of events at this Sunday's Celebrate Centenary!

Sunday 18 April 2010 - 9am – 6.30pm @ St Lucia campus

The University of Queensland Library invites everyone to come and join in our Centenary celebrations, and enjoy free entertainment all day long:

The Fryer Library - Writers' Hub - The UQ Library is proud to present more than 20 authors who will participate in the Writers' Hub. Whether you are an aspiring writer, published author, or avid reader, this series of presentations, in-conversation sessions, panel discussions and readings is bound to inspire.

The Fryer Library will be part of 'Vote for Your Favourite Treasure' on Sunday. Items from its collection will feature in a forthcoming book. Visit the ‘treasures’ exhibitions, collect an entry card and a stamp from the Fryer Library to enter the competition and vote for your favourite treasure. The treasures with the most number of votes will be collated, and the first valid entry drawn will win a limited edition framed print by leading Torres Strait Islander artist Alick Tipoti, valued at over $800.
