eLearning (Blackboard)

Click here to access UQ eLearning (Blackboard)Blackboard is the e-learning system used by The University of Queensland (UQ) to provide online learning experiences and assessment to students.

You can also access Blackboard Mobile on your iDevice or Android, Blackberry or Palm smart phone.

It has a number of uses:

  • It can be used as a tool to facilitate communication and online learning between students and course co-ordinators and to foster an online community.
  • It can also provide online assessment items, including online tests or electronic submission of assignments, as well as access to lecture theatre recordings (via Lectopia).

Important notes for the upgrade of Blackboard from Version 8 to Version 9. Students may be required to clear the cache of their web browser to gain access to the Turnitin anti-plagiarism software. For full details on this please click here for the pdf document.
