Device Setup
Adobe Connect runs on in almost any web browser on both MAC and PCs. You require an up to date version of Adobe Flash and the Adobe Connect add-in to use Adobe Connect.
Getting started
Hardware
- You require a headset (including headphones and a microphone) to use audio in adobe connect meetings. This provides better quality audio and prevents audio reverberation.
- Optionally: web cameras can be used.
Participants please note: To talk, or activate your camera, you will need to be given the rights to be use the Voice and Camera Pods by a Presenter or by the Connect Room Host.
Software
- To start, run this diagnostic check on the computer you intend to use.
- If prompted, it is highly recommended that you download the Adobe add-in
at the end of the diagnostic check. Some features of the room may not
function properly without it.
The plug-in can also be downloaded from this page: http://www.connectusers.com/downloads/

helpdesk for support.
Mobile Applications
Adobe Connect Mobile enables you to attend a meeting from your iOS, Android,
or Blackberry device.
While any Adobe Flash enabled device with Flash Player 10.1 or later can access
an Adobe Connect meeting, Adobe Connect Mobile is optimized for a small screen
and provides a great meeting experience.
For anyone with mobile devices wanting to test out the Connect app, it can
be downloaded from iTunes or from here:
