What are Blackboard Assignments?
Blackboard Assignment is an electronic assignment submission tool within Learn.UQ. The system is distinct from TurnItIn for text based assignments in that this system allows for the submission of Excel, PowerPoint or multimedia files etc.
Read the instructions carefully
The instructions should provide important details, such as:
- The files required for your submission
- The number of files, how the files should be named and the required file formats.
- The method for submitting specific types of files, for example:
- To upload files from your computer use the Browse my computer button rather than the textbox.
- To link to web content use the textbox editor
- Number of allowed submission attempts
- Information on group submissions
- Information on late assignments
- The procedure to follow if something goes wrong with your submission or you submit the wrong file(s)
