Preamble

The University of Queensland (UQ) Library is committed to supporting the University's research, and teaching and learning agenda. The assessments reflect current trends at UQ, and respond to changes in direction through regular updating.

UQ Library's collection in this area supports the teaching and research activities of staff and students in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The School is part of the Faculty of Health Sciences.

6. Special considerations

As course work postgraduate study is external and many of the students remote, emphasis on electronic texts is placed on collecting for these courses.

The 1110 collection is supported by hospital funding of the UQ/Mater McAuley, Princess Alexandra Hospital/UQ and Herston Health Sciences Libraries.
