Preamble
The University of Queensland (UQ) Library is committed to supporting the University's research, and teaching and learning agenda. Purpose of the collection
UQ Library's collection in this area supports the teaching and research activities of staff and students in the Schools of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences, Medicine and Population Health and the Institute for Molecular Bioscience and the UQ Diamantina Institute. All schools are part of the Faculties of Science or Health Sciences.

The Library holds print and electronic book titles in the area. Experienced librarians develop the collection, and welcome input from academic staff. Relevant print collections are grouped under these classification number/s: QR46.

The 1108 collection is supported by hospital funding of the UQ/Mater McAuley, Princess Alexandra Hospital/UQ and Herston Health Sciences Libraries.
